We need Volunteers!
Check-in, Timing, Security, Face-painting, Course markers, Games, Water and Refreshments Table, Set up, Tear down, and Sweepers.
If you would like to volunteer please sign up at the below link:
To ensure everyone has a good time, try to observe good race etiquette--walkers on the right, runners on the left. If you're running and plan to slow down, hold your hand up in the air and make your way to the right as you slow down--this way, those behind you won't run you over! We have a course time limit of 75 minutes, but we'll have plenty of pacers on hand to make sure everyone has a great time!
The course time limit is 60 minutes. Should we reach the course time limit, or should any emergency arise, volunteers will be notified and will ask you to exit the course and return to the amphitheater. Please be sure to follow all volunteer instructions at all times.
Yes! Fresh produce and water will be available to all runners. If you'd like to partner with us to provide additional runner refreshments, or bring your food truck on site, we'd love to hear from you!
Definitely! Kids under 12 run free with a paid adult registration. If your little would like their own shirt and swag bag, they will need their own paid registration. Strollers are welcome; to ensure everyone's safety, please observe proper race etiquette (walkers to the left, runners to the right) and be aware of your surroundings.
We also offer a family 4-pack special--2 kids (under 18), with their own swag bag and shirt.
The information on your amazing swag is coming soon! All paid runners will also receive an awesome moisture wicking official race t-shirt!
Yes! While we will not have a certified course, we are runners and know what it's like to *need to know* your time, and how it stacks up against everyone else's--so we'll have timers on hand! Results will be available the same day, and online after the race.
All results are based on clock time.
The route runs from the Lions Park Amphitheater area through a Greenway tunnel, down Central Avenue to Walker Rd, then Yellowstone Rd. via Manewal Dr. Runners will then reverse the route back through the Greenway tunnel, and take a beautiful turn around Sloan Lake before heading back to the Start/Finish line.
While the route is off the street, the portion around the golf course requires the use of sidewalks, and the fit can be a little tight. Please be courteous to other runners, and have your group run/walk single file through this area to allow others to pass easily and safely.
This route will be closed to the public during the race. Runners without their race bibs prominently displayed on the front of their outermost garments will be asked to exit the course.
